The officials in Sharjah have denied the rumours about a flight catching fire in Sharjah Emirate's airspace.

Two videos of planes on fire is becoming viral on social media platforms. Actually this incident did not happened in Sharjah.
The Sharjah Civil Aviation Department (SCAD) clarified that the Turkey-bound cargo flight experienced a "slight malfunction two minutes after take-off". Smoke emanated from one of its engines.
The Turkish cargo flight's pilot reported engine failure, but three minutes after, pilot said that the glitch had been fixed. The plane then flewn to its destination and landed safely in Istanbul Airport without any incident.
The SCAD monitored the flight journey until it reached its destination safely.
The authorities urged residents not to circulate rumours and to get correct information from official sources.
