Hi Emirates - the docu-series on the central role of women in the United Arab Emirates arrives on RAI
Happy and proud to be part of the Hi Emirates Production Team, as Official Blogger and to be able to give you the news that the docu-series on the central role of women in the United Arab Emirates will also be broadcast in Italy, on the First National Network. , RAI.
The second season of "Hi Dubai", which changes its name to "Hi Emirates", talks about the central role of women in the United Arab Emirates, and will also be broadcast in Italy, and on the Emirati channels Abu Dhabi TV and Dubai One starting from 2 December, the day of the UAE National Day.
The series is a historical tribute dedicated to the great women of the past: from the mother to the wife of the founder of the UAE, passing through as many prominent women from all 7 Emirates to reach contemporary women.
The docu-series is produced by the Italian Benedetta Paravia, author, producer and presenter of the cross-media format, broadcast on TV, web and inflight, which is joined in the new season by Countess Patrizia Landini.
“We asked RAI to evaluate the airing of the program during the period of the national holiday of the United Arab Emirates, therefore next December 2nd, as a tribute to the country that will host the next Expo. A special date, to underline the friendly relations between Italy and the UAE ", says Paravia.
Benedetta Paravia, aka Princess Bee, is globally considered the ambassador of the Arab world.
Over the years she has been the proponent of many courageous projects, such as in 2006 when she wrote "Angels - a song for Peace" for which she is the only artist in the world to have received the patronage of UNESCO "for the importance fundamental for peace and solidarity between peoples ”. This same song also obtained the patronage of the Holy See - Commission for Justice and Peace and the wishes and a medal from the President of the Republic Giorgio Napolitano.
The song, however, was boycotted in many circles, precisely because of the values it bears and the video, shot in the Cinecittà studios, has been banned on Youtube many times. Over the years, many elementary and middle school teachers have chosen “ANGELS” for the year-end play.
In 2005, with the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education of the United Arab Emirates, Benedetta Paravia created "The Intercultural Project", an educational training program for Emirati and Italian university students, specifically designed to bring European and Arab cultures closer together. in favor of intercultural exchange and integration.
It has always promoted intercultural dialogue for the understanding of diversity, fighting discrimination and social exclusion.
She is co-founder and ambassador of the non-profit organization A.N.G.E.L.S. - National Association of Great Energy Latrices of Solidarity, founded in 2008 for health care in Italy for sick children from war-affected areas (www.loveangels.it).
With the collaboration of the Italian government and the Israeli authorities, in 2008 Paravia renovated the Al Amal orphanage in Gaza providing orphans with the basic equipment necessary for their psychomotor development. In 2008 he created a jewel for charity, called "Brotherhood, children of the same Father", which represents the symbols of the 3 monotheistic religions in chronological order, to remind Jews, Christians and Muslims of the descent from Patriarch Abraham.
For this jewel she was expressly asked by a Sheikh from the United Arab Emirates to remove the Star of David in exchange for 2 million dollars, but she refused the offer, so today the signing of the peace treaty between the Arab Emirates and Israel has for her a very profound meaning.
Despite the controversy surrounding the creation of the jewel for Peace, in 2013 she was appointed international ambassador of the Dubai Center Al Noor for disabled children (now “for Determined People”) and volunteered to collect donations for the center. In 2017 she was then proposed for the appointment of UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Italy.
Since 2018 she has produced the TV, web and inFlight series "Hi Dubai" and "Hi Emirates", dedicated to women of the Arab world to explain in the West how the society of an authentic Islamic nation such as the United Arab Emirates is really organized, a country that it is shaping the way to a more connected and harmonious society
Benedetta is considered a key factor in the "Arab Global Renaissance" presented for the first time in 2019 by the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman al Saud, a movement that places women at the center of society in the Arab world.
In short, an Italian woman with a thousand resources, much loved in the Arab world, so much so that her supporters have created a fan club with 740,000 followers, to inform through social networks of all the activities of the effervescent Italian.
